Evening Prayer II

My precious gift has faded into the darkness of night
The Sun has gone to sleep and the Moon now shines her light
Radiant God and Goddess I thank you for your love
And as I enter the land of dreams
Please watch over me from high above

 Food Blessing Prayer

Praise be to the Goddess of Grain who rises from the darkened earth.
She who's leaves embrace the Sun to give all life its birth.
Blessings to the God of Wilds, the untamed air, sea, and land.
He who's meat and milk and bones feed and nurture all of man.
To each I give my love and thanks as I eat today.
This food that they, with gentle hearts allowed to come my way.

Morning Prayer

 

I rise again refreshed

To see another day

The Sun shines down upon me

To light me on my way

May the Lord grant me wisdom

And strength to do what's right
May the Lady grant me gentleness
And firmness in spirit and mind
May none be harmed along the way
As my highest good I seek
In perfect love and perfect trust
As I will it so shall it be

Evening Prayer

 

I now prepare to fall into the darkness of my dreams.
Bearing witness to mindless thoughts and feelings within me.
I call upon the Goddess ruler of the darkened sky.
To bless me with a charm to stand the wounds that lay inside.


Pain and guilt, anger, hate I cast into the hand.
Of the Goddess beyond the brink of the hori-zon.
May she cast away that which seeks to harm me.
And bring an illusioned world with happiness in bounty.


To dark-ness I now descend with sleep upon my eye.
And seek to rest relenting to the ripening slumber inside.
Farewell I say upon the name of the Sun Lord.
As we descend into the reign of the spirits' hold
